Well it's arrived my box of bits from our recycling mobiles

I have now registered our club with 'Foneaid' so all we need to do is start asking family and friends for their unwanted mobiles, it doesn't matter what phone, what age or condition.

I have posters and bags to hand round your local shops, police stations or railway station any where that has a lost property department.Fonaid are contacting the echo wessex fm and local TV station to make them aware of us in a press release.

So it's down to us to make this a success! I have also offered the Football club sponsors

Julia's House £1.00 for every phone we collect.

SUMMER SIXES

As I'm sure you have heard by now, we managed to raise over £2,000,and it was pleasing to hear from teams that they had a great time, and were entertained and wanting to partisapate again in 2009

It was a learning curve for us and we realised it was well worth doing,and doing a lot better again next year. I shall be looking to form a Fund raising committee of two members from each team,not managers as they have enough to cope with.

So if you feel you have a little spare time to help please get in touch.
